What Is “GEM App”?

GEM App is a solution to help companies determine if there is a gender wage gap in their company, understand the causes, and take necessary action.

In 2022, the Japanese government has announced that it will impose a mandatory disclosure of the gender wage gap for companies with 301 or more regular workers.

This service provides an application that estimates the gender wage gap by controlling basic attributes so that each company can confirm the existence of the gender wage gap within the company, understand the reasons why it exists, and take measures to eliminate the gap.

The GEM App also comes with a manual that has a set of checklists and additional analyses to interpret results and identify expected causes.

How the GEM App is provided

Software (.exe) to automatically analyze the gender wage gap and a manual (.pdf) will be provided.
The price of the product varies depending on the number of employees in your company/organization. Please select a plan that corresponds to the number of employees in your organization or company.

Each plan is a one-year subscription contract and will automatically renew at the end of the one-year license (renewal will result in a new one-year fee).

The data provided includes analysis apps, operation manuals, guides, and product keys for license activation.

The provided apps differ for each plan. Data can be analyzed if the number of employees is within the range specified in the plan. On the other hand, an error will occur if data is loaded for a number of people that exceeds the number of employees specified in the plan.

GEM App provides an application that estimates the gender wage gap by controlling basic attributes so that each company can confirm the existence of the gender wage gap within the company, understand the reasons why it exists, and take measures to eliminate the gap.

The product price depends on the number of employees in your company/organization. Please select a plan that corresponds to the number of employees in your organization or company.
Please note that no refunds will be made in the event of cancellation or change during the subscription period.

We will provide an application (exe format) that automatically analyzes the gender wage gap, a manual explaining how to use the application(pdf format), and an explanatory document (pdf format) explaining the analysis results and the measures as deliverables. We will also share the product key necessary to activate the application.

This application is provided in a stand-alone format, so it can be used in an offline environment from loading of data to displaying analysis results (except for the license authentication performed when the application is started).
Please note in advance that if the subscription contract is not renewed and the contract term expires, the purchaser's license will be suspended and the application will no longer be available for use.

No data containing personally identifiable information is required to use this application. The demographic information (gender, education, marital status, full-time employment), work information (length of service, department, job title, total hours worked), and salary information (year paid, amount paid) for each employee are all that is needed for analysis. If you purchase as a juristic person, you can share only within the juristic body.

You can reprint for internal documents. In addition, graphs and charts of the analysis results of this application may be published on company website, provided that the results are clearly stated to be the results of analysis using this product.

You are not permitted to use the data and any information from the service for commercial usage. The acts of analysis and modification of the source code of GEM App, such as reverse engineering, decompile, disassembly and so on, are prohibited.

You may use the information in media (including citation in papers) references, etc. However, this does not apply to continuous publication in books, etc. For details, please contact us.
